Obverse description A large intaglio vignette of a Burmese peacock with fully spread tail occupies the left portion of the note, rendered in blue against a pale pink underprint. To the right, an oval frame encloses a rural hut with a rising sun in the background, flanked by Burmese script inscriptions and ornate guilloche borders. The denomination numeral appears at lower right within a decorative cartouche, with Burmese legends running across the top and bottom margins.

Reverse description The central vignette presents a panoramic view of Mandalay Palace with its fortified walls and multi-tiered pyatthat tower reflected in the surrounding moat. Elaborate guilloche borders frame the composition, incorporating dhamma-wheel medallions on either side and foliate ornamental designs at the corners. Denomination numerals and Burmese script legends are arranged in the margins.
