| Reverse description | The brass centre features a finely detailed relief of a song thrush (Turdus philomelos) perched on a rocky outcrop, facing left with its spotted breast plumage rendered with naturalistic precision. Behind the bird rises a decorative branch bearing clusters of berries and broad leaves, characteristic of the species' natural habitat. The nickel silver outer ring carries the curved inscription 'ANADOLU'YA ÖZGÜ KUŞLAR' along the upper arc and 'ARDIÇ KUŞU' along the lower arc, both in raised Latin lettering. The overall design is part of the 'Birds Endemic to Anatolia' commemorative series issued by the Turkish State Mint. |
