Obverse description Central field dominated by the elaborate tughra (imperial monogram) of Sultan Mehmed V Reşad, rendered in fine calligraphic relief. The tughra is flanked to the upper right by the Arabic epithet 'Reşad' and below by the regnal year numeral '3' (سنة ٣), indicating the third year of his reign. The entire design is encircled by a ring of thirteen raised five-pointed stars, with a fine beaded border running along the coin's inner rim.
