A peasant woman (but smaller portrait) with a scarf and horsetail (lat. Equisetum) in hand is placed in the central part of the coin. NEZ (abbreviation of NEZAVISNA) DRŽ (abbreviation of DRŽAVA) HRVATSKA is written alongside the edge. There is a small grape cluster between the words DRŽ and HRVATSKA, while a small fish is placed at the bottom of the coin (instead of a year). Year of minting (1941) is engraved behind the peasant woman, in the background.
