Obverse description Central field dominated by the interlaced royal cipher C5 — the crowned monogram of King Christian V — surmounted by a large ornate royal crown with elaborate detailing. The monogram is rendered in bold relief within an inner beaded border. A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, partially reading IUSTITIA ET PIETATE, separated by small rosette stops. The overall design is characteristic of late 17th-century Danish baroque coinage.
