Obverse description Crowned quartered coat of arms of the Kingdom of Württemberg occupies the central field, featuring the three black lions of Württemberg and the stag antlers of Teck among other heraldic elements. The royal crown surmounts the shield above. The circular legend flanking the shield reads KÖNIGR. WÜRTTEMBERG, arranged along the left and right periphery in Latin script. The design is rendered in a clean neoclassical heraldic style typical of early nineteenth-century German state coinage.
