Obverse description In the upper field, the interlaced monogram FHA (initials of the issuing authority) flanked by two rosette ornaments. Below the monogram, the Roman numeral I denoting the value of one Kreuzer is centered, with the date 1672 divided to either side. In the lower portion of the field, a recumbent bovine (cow or ox) is depicted in profile, its head turned outward with prominent horns visible. The design is unlettered and contained within a plain raised rim. The overall style is characteristic of crude local commodity or butcher's token coinage of the period.
