Obverse description Draped bust of Leopold I of Habsburg facing right, his laureate effigy breaking through the inner circle at the top. The denomination numeral appears below the portrait within the circle. The Latin legend commences at 12 o'clock and reads around the periphery of the coin.

Reverse description Crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed without sceptre or sword, bearing on its breast a crowned flat-topped shield charged with the Bohemian lion, all contained within an inner circle. The date appears to the left of the central crown atop the eagle, and the Kuttenberg mint mark — an arm holding a hammer — is placed in the outer legend below.
