| Obverse description | Central field displays the interlaced monogram HAE (Heinrich, Administrator, Episcopus — referring to Bishop Heinrich V von Knörringen) superimposed over a small shield bearing the arms of the Bishopric of Augsburg. The denomination numeral 1 appears to the left of the monogram and the value 20 (indicating 20 Pfennig equivalence) to the right. The date 1621 is inscribed above. The entire design is encircled by a wreath of laurel or olive branches, characteristic of the emergency Kipper coinage of the period. |
