Obverse description Crowned heart-shaped tripartite arms of Hanau-Lichtenberg, composed of three quartered escutcheons surmounted by a large crown, displayed within a beaded inner circle. The shield arrangement is flanked by decorative supporting elements and occupies the full central field. A continuous legend runs along the outer rim within the beaded border.
