| Additional information |
Frederick Casimir of Teschen ruled a small Silesian duchy that was perpetually squeezed between Habsburgs and Piasts, and his coinage reflects that precariousness — issues are short-lived, mintages modest, and surviving examples genuinely scarce. His reign ended with his death in 1571, leaving no male heir, after which Teschen passed directly under Habsburg administration.
MB#13 is among the rarer attributions in the Teschen series. The two-year window of production and the duchy's limited minting infrastructure kept numbers low from the outset.
