| Obverse description | Central field bears the rampant Bohemian lion within a beaded inner circle, depicted in high relief with crown, bifurcated tail, and detailed mane in the characteristic Baroque style of the period. The lion faces left with raised forepaw. Surrounding the inner circle, a circular legend in Latin reads the abbreviated titles of Ferdinand II, including the date. The coin is struck on an irregular flan typical of hammered coinage of the early seventeenth century. |
