Obverse description Central field features a floriated cross with an imperial double-headed eagle displayed at its centre, the wings spread, set within a beaded inner circle. The cross arms are ornately detailed in the late Gothic manner characteristic of Tyrolean coinage. A Latin legend encircles the design within a beaded outer border, reading the abbreviated royal and imperial titles of Ferdinand I. The coin exhibits the irregular flan and surface texture typical of hammered silver production of the early sixteenth century.

Reverse description Central field depicts a small cross pattée or patriarchal cross set within a wreath or tressure of decorative elements, consistent with Tyrolean kreuzer types of the period. The surrounding Latin legend, rendered in abbreviated Gothic-influenced lettering, records Ferdinand I's subordinate titles as Infante of Spain, Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, and Count of Tyrol. The legend is contained between two beaded circles forming the border. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, reflecting hand-hammered manufacture at the Hall Mint.
