| Additional information |
Charles Theodor ruled the Palatinate-Sulzbach line from 1742 and would eventually inherit Bavaria in 1777, but in 1749–50 his administration was still consolidating minor coinage to meet local transactional demand. The kreuzer denomination at this weight sits at the very bottom of the silver coinage hierarchy — so lightly alloyed and so small that surviving examples with clean surfaces are genuinely uncommon, not because of rarity in mintage but because pieces this thin were simply destroyed by handling.
