The circumferential legend, reading SIE GEHET WIEDER HERVOR D. 22. APR. 1832 (She comes forth again, 22 April 1832), records the commemorative date of the Grand Duchess's recovery. The mint name KARLSRUHE appears in the lower exergual area, accompanied by a small star, and the year 1832 is inscribed at the very base. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
