Obverse description Central design features a stepped pyramid surmounted by a triangular apex, with the Nuremberg civic arms — a quartered shield with diagonal banding — displayed at the base of the pyramid. The date 1806 appears in the exergue below. The encircling legend reads N.L.M. to the left and 1 K. ST. to the right, separated by the pyramid motif. The coin's border is decorated with a continuous beaded rim. The composition and engraving reflect the late municipal coinage tradition of the Free Imperial City.
