Obverse description Central device consisting of two crossed keys of St. Peter, the traditional civic arms of Regensburg, rendered in ornate Baroque cartouche with scrollwork and foliate embellishments. The date appears at the top of the field, flanked by decorative flourishes, while the mintmaster's initials are divided in a cartouche at the base. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner border.
