| Obverse description | Bare-headed draped bust of Empress Maria Theresia facing right, her elaborately curled hair dressed in the Baroque fashion with long ringlets falling to the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the drapery at the truncation. The circumferential Latin legend reads M.THERES.D.G. R.I.G.H.B.R.A.AUST., abbreviating her full imperial and royal titulature. The field is smooth and unadorned, and the coin is bordered by a toothed or milled rim. |

| Reverse description | Central field features an ornate Baroque cartouche formed by elaborate acanthus-scroll and foliate strapwork, surmounted by a small decorative finial at the apex. Within the cartouche, the denomination and date are inscribed in three lines: EIN / KREUTZER / 1749, with the Vienna mint mark W positioned below the date at the base of the cartouche. The overall design is characteristic of mid-18th-century Austrian coinage, with the decorative surround filling the field to the milled border. |
