Obverse description The obverse features the heraldic Bohemian lion passant, double-tailed, rendered in bold relief at the center of the field. The lion is depicted rampant with both tails clearly visible, wearing a crown, in a style consistent with the traditional Czech coat of arms. The bilingual legend encircles the design, reading 'BÖHMEN UND MÄHREN' in German along the upper arc and 'ČECHY A MORAVA' in Czech along the lower arc, separated by small decorative rosette stops. The engraving, attributed to Jaroslav Eder, reflects a restrained Art Deco influence adapted to wartime zinc coinage.
