| Obverse description | Central crowned quartered shield bearing the arms of the Bishopric of Würzburg, flanked on either side by stylized branches or palm fronds. The date is divided and inscribed in the field to the left and right of the crowned shield, reading 1796 (or 1795 for the earlier issue). The composition and style are characteristic of late 18th-century German ecclesiastical coinage. |

| Reverse description | Imperial orb surmounted by a cross, displayed at the center of a raised rhombus (lozenge) frame with decorative corner elements. The orb bears a horizontal band and the value numeral, and the entire device is set within the rhombus against a plain field, a common convention for denoting fractional values on small German states' billon coinage of this period. |
