Obverse description Printed entirely in green on cream paper, the note carries the denomination title EGY KORONA in a rectangular cartouche at the top, framed by an ornate letterpress border with foliate and geometric motifs. Below the vignette, a text panel states the redemption terms, flanked by numeral '1' tablets inscribed KORONA at lower left and right, with a crossed-hammer miners' emblem at centre bottom.
