| Reverse description | The reverse carries a bilingual legend combining Arabic and Devanagari scripts. The central field displays the regnal name and title of the local Kutch ruler Rao Shree Pragmalji, inscribed in Devanagari characters, alongside the Hijri date AH 978 derived from the Muzaffar Shah III prototype. The combination of the Sultanate-era Arabic formula with the Kutchi ruler's name in Devanagari is characteristic of the transitional coinage issued by the Kutch princely state during Pragmalji I's reign. |
