Reverse description Reverse displays a dense field of fine vertical striae or line patterns occupying the majority of the flan, characteristic of the decorative die-work employed on hammered Nawanagar kori coinage. Curvilinear and scrolled Devanagari characters emerge from the striated background, forming a continuation of the dynastic inscription. The irregular flan edges and surface texture are consistent with hand-hammered production at the Nawanagar Mint. The design is deliberately abstract, serving as both a security feature and an aesthetic convention of the regional coinage tradition.
