Obverse description Central field features the elegant crowned imperial cypher of Emperor Pavel I, rendered as a stylised Cyrillic monogram 'П' with elaborate foliate scroll terminals at the base and sides, surmounted by a small Roman numeral 'I' at the foot of the central stroke. The Imperial crown, depicted in fine detail with arched bands and a globus cruciger finial, is placed directly above the monogram. The entire design is set within a plain field bordered by a continuous milled rim of fine beading, lending the piece a refined, medallic character consistent with novodel production.
