Obverse lettering SANCTVS . RVBERTVS . EPS . SALISBV:
Reverse description Central device depicts a tall tower standing firm against the assault of the four winds, driving rain, and crashing sea waves, serving as an allegory of steadfast resistance — likely referencing the original 1593 (MDXCIII) issue commemorating the archbishopric's resilience. The date MDXCIII appears in Roman numerals within the legend, flanked by the motto. The countermark 16S81, applied on behalf of Archbishop Max Gandolf von Kuenburg, is struck into the field, authenticating and reissuing this piece in 1681. The Latin legend encircles the design on the square klippe flan.
