Obverse description Crude hammered depiction of Shiva seated upon Nandi the sacred bull, rendered in the rudimentary folk style characteristic of South Indian copper kasu coinage. The design occupies the central field with dotted pellets and a small square motif in the lower field, typical decorative elements of the Sethupati series. The irregular flan and heavy strike give the type a distinctive rustic aesthetic consistent with locally produced Madurai Nayaka dependency coinage.

Reverse description Tamil inscription reading 'Sree Udaya Deva' occupying the central field in two or three lines, rendered in a crude but legible Tamil script. The legend serves as a devotional or honorific epithet associated with the Sethupati ruler. The flan is irregular and the strike shallow in areas, consistent with the hammered production technique of this issue.
