Reverse description Central field features a standing male figure depicted frontally in low relief within a partial circular border or inner ring, shown with arms bent at the elbows and legs slightly apart, consistent with representations of a Hindu deity common to Thanjavur Nayak coinage. The figure's broad proportions and schematic rendering are typical of South Indian copper kasu of the early 17th century. The surrounding field retains green cuprous patination, and the flan edge remains notably irregular, a hallmark of the hammered manufacture employed by the Nayaka mints. Peripheral details are largely worn or indistinct due to the limitations of the hammering technique and the passage of time.
