Obverse description Central device depicts a humped bull (Nandi) standing to the right in profile, rendered in low relief with characteristic primitive hammered execution. A crescent or lunar symbol appears above the bull in the upper field. Indistinct legend or decorative border elements surround the central device along the periphery, partially obscured by typical flan irregularity and surface corrosion. The overall design reflects the iconographic tradition of South Indian Nayak coinage, where the sacred bull serves as the principal dynastic emblem.
