| Obverse description | A couchant bull (Nandi) depicted in left profile occupies the central field, rendered in the characteristic crude style of hammered Mysore copper coinage. The figure is shown recumbent with the head raised, a traditional emblem of the Hindu Kingdom of Mysore associated with the deity Shiva.
