Obverse description Armenian legend in multiple lines filling the field, rendered in Erkatagir (bolorgir) script. The inscription, heavily worn on this example, occupies the central and upper portions of the flan, with individual letter-groups discernible in relief against the flat field. The coin's irregular flan and characteristic patina reflect its hammered manufacture. The overall presentation is epigraphic in character, consistent with Cilician Armenian copper coinage of the mid-13th century.
