| Obverse description | At left and right, winged angel vignettes each blow a trumpet, flanking a central panel bearing the city coat of arms above the denomination inscription ОДИН КАРБОВАНЕЦЬ; the numeral 1 appears in circular ornamental frames at either side. Below the central device, Ukrainian text confirms the note is fully secured by State credit certificates held at the Zhytomyr branch of the State Bank. Signature lines for the city head (міський голова) and accountant (бухгалтер) are positioned at lower left and right, each bearing manuscript signatures, with the date 1918 року and the series letters А.Е. also inscribed. |
