Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Nagari inscription filling the field, arranged in several registers across the flan. The legend records the royal title and name of the issuing ruler, Singar Chandra Deva, in the Devanagari script. The lettering is bold but irregularly struck, with portions of the legend falling off the flan due to the small and uneven coin blank. The overall design is typical of the epigraphic reverses used on jital coinage of the Kangra hill rajas during the fifteenth century.
