| Obverse description | Irregular hammered billon flan bearing a bold Arabic legend in Naskh script, disposed across the field in two or three lines. The inscription, typical of Delhi Sultanate jitals of the Shamsi dynasty, references the sultan's titles and names. The die-struck lettering is deeply cut and somewhat crowded, reflecting the small module of the denomination. Surfaces show characteristic patination with traces of copper oxidation and green encrustation consistent with age and burial. |

| Reverse description | Reverse field bears a multi-line Arabic inscription in Naskh script, densely arranged across the irregular flan. The legend, characteristic of Nasir al-Din Mahmud Shah I jitals, includes formulaic religious and regal titulature typical of Delhi Sultanate coinage of the mid-13th century. The hammered strike has resulted in some weakness and doubling at the margins, with areas of patinated billon surface exhibiting green and reddish-brown oxidation. |
