Obverse description Central field bearing bold Arabic script in three horizontal registers, reading the regnal name and titles of Muhammad bin Tughluq, with the AH date 732 (corresponding to 1331–1332 AD) prominently inscribed in the lower register. The legends are executed in a characteristic Tughra-influenced calligraphic style typical of Delhi Sultanate coinage. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with a rough, uneven rim consistent with hammered billon coinage of the period.
