| Obverse description | Central field bears four large Chinese ideograms arranged vertically, reading top to bottom and right to left, denoting the denomination. These central characters are encircled by a ring of additional Chinese ideograms conveying the issuing authority, denomination, and date, all set within a plain border. The inscription identifies the coin as a one-jiao silver coin struck in the tenth year of the Republic of China and made in Kwangsi Province. The overall layout is symmetrical and typographic in character, with no figurative or portrait elements. |
