Obverse description Central field bears four large Chinese ideograms arranged vertically in two columns, reading right to left from top to bottom. Above the ideograms appears a horizontal band of Manchu script, while additional Chinese characters are positioned below. Decorative floral ornaments flank the central inscription on either side, lending a formal, symmetrical composition typical of late Qing imperial coinage.
