| Reverse description | A ram passant to the left, head turned to face right, with a waving banner or flag displayed behind it, the whole enclosed within a circular legend in uncial characters. The Agnus Dei motif, rendered here as a walking ram rather than the classical recumbent lamb, is a common ecclesiastical symbol on medieval Gotlandic coinage. The device is struck in low relief consistent with the hammered technique of the period. |
