| Obverse description | Central field bears a crowned Gothic letter N, the initial of Nidaros, enclosed within a small inner beaded circle. A second beaded circle runs along the coin's periphery, with the inscription occupying the annular space between the two rings. The design is executed in the late medieval uncial style characteristic of Norwegian ecclesiastical coinage. |
