| Obverse description | Within a central dotted inner circle, a crowned Gothic letter 'R' occupies the field, the crown rendered in relief above the letter in the medieval uncial style. The surrounding legend, separated from the central device by the beaded circle, runs clockwise in uncial characters. The flan is irregular, consistent with hand-hammered medieval coinage, and the overall strike shows characteristic uneven depth typical of mid-15th century Danish issues. |
