| Obverse description | Degraded bust of a ruler facing left, rendered in a highly schematized and debased style characteristic of late Nakhshab coinage. The effigy, derived from earlier Sasanian prototypes, shows considerable stylistic degeneration with the facial features and headdress reduced to abstract forms. The surrounding field displays heavily worn and irregular surfaces consistent with a debased billon flan struck by hand. |
