| Obverse description | Central field occupied by an elaborately interlaced double cursive monogram of the letters W and N, rendered in a flowing Baroque calligraphic style with decorative foliate flourishes extending into the lower field. The conjoined cypher, representing Wilhelm (William) of Nassau, fills the majority of the flan. Surmounting the monogram is a princely crown with beaded arches and visible cross finial, positioned at the top center of the coin. The field is otherwise plain, with no surrounding legend. |
