Obverse description Central field dominated by the elaborately hatched and interlaced Wittelsbach lozenge (fusilly) shield, rendered in high relief with bold diagonal banding. The mint letters C and B flank the shield to the left and right respectively, each accompanied by a small five-pointed star in the lower field. The date 1765 is inscribed above the shield, followed by a stop. The coin border is dentilated throughout.
