Obverse description The crowned Saxon coat of arms, featuring the characteristic barry with a diagonal crancelin, occupies the central field of this square klippe flan. The shield is surmounted by a ducal crown and flanked on both sides by ornamental sprigs, forming a decorative wreath-like frame around the arms. The composition is rendered in low relief typical of small copper coinage of the late 18th-century German states.
