Obverse description Two open hands displayed side by side, fingers pointing upward, rendered in low relief on an irregular flan typical of mid-14th century hammered bracteate-style coinage. The palms face the viewer and are symmetrically arranged, forming the distinctive 'Hand Heller' type that served as the primary identifying device of the Tiengen lordship. The design is executed in a rudimentary but characteristic medieval style, with no surrounding legend or border. The field is uneven, consistent with the crude striking technique of the period.
