| Obverse description | The ducal arms of Saxe-Meiningen displayed on a baroque cartouche, consisting of the Saxon barry with a central bend charged with crancequins, surmounted by a crowned helmet. The shield is flanked by elaborate foliate and scrollwork mantling extending to either side, filling the field. No peripheral legend is present; the milled edge forms the border. |
