| Obverse description | Elaborate crowned ducal cypher of Frederick II of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg occupying the central field, formed by interlaced script initials beneath a ducal crown rendered in fine detail. Two small six-petalled rosettes flank the monogram in the left and right fields respectively. The coin exhibits a plain inner field with a milled border running along the entire periphery, characteristic of early eighteenth-century German territorial coinage. |

| Reverse description | Entirely typographic reverse bearing the abbreviated territorial title and denomination arranged in six horizontal lines across the field, reading: '·F·S·' flanked by small star stops at top, followed by 'GOTHA', 'UND', 'ALTENB:', 'HELLER:', and the date '1713' at the base. The lettering is bold and upright in the style typical of early eighteenth-century Saxon minor coinage, with no additional decorative elements save for the milled border encircling the design. |
