Obverse description Divided heraldic shield bearing the quartered arms of Anhalt, occupying the central field. The two-digit year or partial date appears either flanking the shield or positioned above it. The overall design is characteristic of the crude, hastily produced Kipper-period coinage, with rough flan preparation typical of this inflationary era.
