Obverse description Crowned ducal monogram of Duke Albrecht III of Saxe-Coburg, centrally placed within the field and flanked on either side by a palm branch, the fronds extending vertically in a decorative symmetrical arrangement. The crown surmounts the interlaced initials in a simple but authoritative heraldic style typical of small German territorial copper coinage of the late seventeenth century.

Reverse description Four-line inscription in raised Roman capitals occupying the entire field, reading CO / BURGER / HELLER / [date], denoting the Coburg Heller denomination and the year of issue. The lettering is bold and well-spaced, with a plain inner border encircling the inscription, consistent with the utilitarian style of minor copper coinage produced for the Duchy of Saxe-Coburg.
