Obverse description The city arms of Augsburg, depicted as a shield with a pine cone device, set within an ornate baroque cartouche. The date is split to either side of the central shield, with '17' to the left and '43' to the right. Scrolling foliate ornaments and decorative flourishes frame the entire composition, filling the octagonal field.

Reverse description A large eight-pointed cross formed by four pairs of radiating foliate arms, each terminating in a trefoil or club-like finial, with small spherical dots positioned at the outer tips. The angles between the arms are filled with additional leaf-shaped floral ornaments, creating a dense, symmetrical rosette pattern that occupies the entire octagonal field. No legend or inscription is present.
