| Obverse description | Central field features the emblem of Saudi Arabia: a palm tree above two crossed swords, rendered in fine relief. Surrounding the central device, a circular Arabic legend fills the field in flowing Naskh script, reading the full royal title of King Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The inscription is arranged in four arching segments encircling the emblem, occupying nearly the entire coin face. The design is purely epigraphic and heraldic, with no rim beading, presenting a characteristic mid-twentieth century Saudi coinage style. |
